The Longest Day 2007 and Other stuff

Denise and I are starting the early stages of planning for TLD 2007. June 23rd, save the date! The Rogaine finish has worked well the last two years, so I see no reason to change. It minimizes volunteer requirements and virtually eliminates the need for the "sag wagon". We're going to be working the same general area again but I have some special twists in mind to keep it fresh. The Taconic Outdoor Education Center will once again play a central role. Lodging at the cabins will be offered Friday night.

The 24 Hour Shag is in need of some help for reasons that will soon become apparent. We didn't put a hard date on the calendar because we are going to need someone to step into the course setting and direction roles. (Yeah, that's my usual gig, but let's just say I'll be a little busy in September.) I'll be available to help with design suggestions if needed and we are having some initial discussions with Land Managers about available resources. But we're gonna need somebody(s?) to step(s?) up and make the race day logistics work.
