Hey, he's navigating with a compass, wearing a pith helmet and being told by police to stay off the major highways. He's an adventure racer. He just doesn't know it....

- Adventure Racing crazed since seeing the first Eco Challenge on Discovery and an active racer a few years later. Hey, it really was hard to get started when there were four races per year and half of them required two weeks of vacation and $5,000 of spare cash. :) Now I'm a veteran, and still love every minute of racing. Like a blind squirrel, I'll slowly and precisely navigate my way to the occasional nut (1st Place Efix 2005!). But don't expect me to out run anybody that's fast and knows where they are going. Fatherhood is the latest variable in my racing equation. It's going to be interesting to see how Finn affects my training and racing.
